I spent a month in South Africa documenting the cities, people, landscape and animals all around me. I like traveling more in depth in one country visiting its many cities, regions and culture. During this experience, I did a home-stay in one of the country’s biggest and most dangerous townships, Khayelitsha. I explored Capetown, Durban and Port Elizabeth. I took the opportunity to explore the country’s many rural areas, Transkei, Drakensberg Mountains and independent country of Lesotho. Even though I do not consider myself a wildlife photographer, one of the most rewarding highlights was a four day African Safari and three night camping experience in Kruger National Park. I was also fortunate to visit Addo National Park and the Lion & Safari Park. Seeing these animals in their natural habitat left me with an appreciate that I still hold onto today.
