Sea Side Dreaming

A few frames of my friend Linnea. We went out and played at the beach for an evening. Taking these types of photos that have a more whimsical theme is different for me; I usually gravitate toward more adventure type photo shoots, but this was a fun exercise to play with poetry and more feminine beauty. Ever since I've taken an interest in video, I've become a lot more inspired by poetry. Gaining a sensitivity toward that is something I never expected to happen, but I'm so glad it did. My friend Sarah Vande Kamp has been in front of my camera a lot in the last year and this time I had her read aloud one of her poems. I love her voice and the way she writes. Woodchuck Case Studio

Today's the day that Woodchuck is having their opening party to showcase their new office space. I'm sad I can't be there for it, but last weekend when I was in Minneapolis for a few commissions, I stopped over to see their new space. I was stoked to see my photos from the Fall lookbook that I photographed hanging on the walls. I love seeing my photos printed in this way.
